SBLA collaborated with the project team to design the landscape surrounding the new Iovine and Young Hall, a forward-thinking hub for the convergence of technology, design, business, and culture. Situated at a key entrance to the USC campus, the landscape surrounding this building for the Iovine and Young Academy was designed to create a welcoming sense of arrival to the campus. We also established a distinct landscape identity for the gathering areas adjacent to the building, while ensuring efficient pedestrian connectivity to the campus’s bustling pathway network. New gardens were introduced to incorporate an outdoor sculpture collection, and collaborative landscape spaces were created to foster interaction and innovation among students.
