LINCOLN ARROYO

We designed the site surrounding an all-affordable housing development in downtown Santa Monica. The central courtyard features a dynamic paving design and plantings that recall the arroyo that once ran beneath this site. A sinuous path through drought tolerant plantings leads to a variety of impromptu meeting spaces. We also designed a new streetscape with the sidewalk leading through plantings. This project was designed in collaboration with Koning Eizenberg Architects.
