Jessica Nguyen is a landscape designer who relocated to southern California from the Midwest. She has eight years of design experience with notable firms including EDAW and Pamela Burton & Company. Jessica has collaboratively designed and managed projects varying in scale from a large residential community in China to the site design of international consulates, municipal parks, and charming residential gardens. She received her Bachelors of Landscape Architecture from Iowa State University in 2007, where her design work focused on preserving the ecologies of the region. She is interested in landscapes that poetically weave the vernacular landscape with built form.
Her background includes ceramic arts, digital rendering, and graphic design. Throughout her career, Jessica has utilized these skills to develop a distinctive digital communication style. Her graphic renderings encapsulate the design intent of each project by translating the rich textures and tones from each site into a composition that represents site-specific design elements as well as the sentiment of the space.
